Spinio's story started ten years ago with a realisation: images play a huge role in online car sales. Selling a used car depends on high-quality images, but taking them in-store is a challenge. This has meant that taking good sales images has been an expensive and never-ending process for many car dealerships.

There has been a strong shift to online used car sales, as consumers appreciate the easy and hassle-free way to compare options. The challenge, however, is often that it is not possible to test drive or physically inspect a car before buying. Spinio fills this gap.

People are visual creatures, and much of the content online is based on images and videos. It is therefore not surprising that high-quality images in sales ads have a significant impact on the customer's perception of the product. Since no one wants to buy a mediocre product, it is important for car dealers to invest in images that stand out from the competition.

But car dealers don't have to be experts in photography - that's what Spinio is for. We provide our customers with the best tools to achieve a significant market advantage. Taking pictures of a car in a retail space is challenging because it requires perfect control of lighting and environmental conditions. These are influenced by numerous factors, such as the time of day and the structure of the space.

Spinio's automated imaging system has been developed in cooperation with Finland's largest car dealerships to meet this challenge. Our system allows you to take interior and exterior photos of cars in a closed studio with the push of a button. The studio always provides optimal shooting conditions and the process is fully automated - the user doesn't need to understand anything about photography. This allows our customers to focus on their core competence: car sales.

The images are automatically transferred to Spinio's image service, where they are processed according to the individual needs of each customer. We produce 360 images and branded still image sets that are automatically transferred to the client's systems.
